Will this work on a t56 gearbox, as i have converted my vn to a ls1 t56.

Yes, they work well with a T56/VN speedo combination.

I came across this. VDO/Siemens make a corrector. I might give these guys a bell and see what they recon on calibration, if the speedo itself or a convertor might be better.

Just go to the ratio box and then scroll down to find the brochure link for it. Can operate at 0-10vpp square wave or if needed line voltage dependent up to 24v square, exactly perfect for the hall effect type VSS since it work on 12v square wave.
