PCM part numbers, and relationship to bins

Hi All,

I'm quite new hacking Delco PCM's. I have a post in the GM ECU subforum where I'm asking some questions for my saturn, but I thought I might post here. I would like to know how I can identify the "vintage" or "series" of PCM I have, and relate that to BIN files that I find here. I see many references here to 441's, and then some 4-letter acronyms for bins (AUJP or similar) and I don't know where these numbers or codes come from.

My goal would be to find bin files from other PCM's with a similar architecture (based on the same processor with the same rom size, for instance..) so that I can use those bins to compare against mine and find similarities, and ultimately understand my pcm bin more quickly.

Thanks, Ivan

Most the stuff your talking about are from the earlier Australian pcms. There is a master list here. http://pcmhacking.net/memcals.html

If what you need isnt there (likely as you mentioned in the other thread that you have a saturn) then google is your friend, or a good American forum with similar content is http://www.gearhead-efi.com/
