I'm interested in seeing the reliability of the turbo. A full length movie is now required to keep everyone happy.

I’ve kept it under 3000rpm as it hasn’t been tuned past this point but It’s back to the dyno on Thursday. I’m not so worried about the turbo it’s the trans that’s a worry. The BW35 don’t like torque and there’s mountains of it.

Mate of mine has used it on his EVO10. works really well and is a very progressive system. It actually helped him with the exhaust design and the manifold creation as this was a nightmare originally. I am not sure whether he is going to transfer this to his race car or not but for his road car he is very happy with it. It has had a dramatic difference in the under bonnet temporatures (i do not understand why but they have dropped 30 degrees)
Cheers

Twin scroll works great the 202 turbo I did had the same turbo as the vb used to have but it was twin scroll extractor style manifold and the vb is twin scroll turbo on single scroll log manifold .202 spooled the turbo way lower in the revs than the 3.8 did

The dyno guy is putting a twin scroll setup on his 80 series Landcruiser 4.5 litre 6 cylinder. He has just started building the exhaust manifold out of steam pipe so I will be taking notes. Its going to run a VT memcal for sequential firing and coil on plug.
