B8 is AC input Request signal... its possible that B8 is connected somewhere by accident and thats making it think that AC is on. try cutting that wire and see if it thinks AC is off then.

ok pulled the pin on B8 and reset the fan on temperature and it worked, fan didn't turn on until 180 deg, It is still odd that that works like that as there is no compressor on the car no fuse for the AC. any way thanks for the help.

Won't need a compressor.
If the switch on the dash is still fitted or the wire that originally went to the switch has been incorrectly hooked up it could cause the problem.
The ECU's only looking for the AC request input, when it gets it it turns on the fan relay and AC relay outputs.

I would like to be able to log fuel pressure, Is it possible? and how would one go about doing it? I saw a digital 100psi gauge and sensor on ebay. don't really need the gauge but would like to be able to see fuel pressure vs boost in a log.

As an example Something like this should work ok and they come in different pressure ranges.

So if I could find one in a lower psi rating, How could this be tied into a gm 165 ECM running $12P?

I'm running pretty much the same sensor on the side of my pressure regulator and im feeding the signal into my data logger, but It should be able to go into an ecm input too.
