Car looks good! But that VE could be a bit smoother. Its probably worth taking a look at Holden202s 202 tunes and using his ve and spark tables as a base.

Edit: was going to drop a link to holden202t's post with the bin but cant find it on my phone. Im pretty sure its here somewhere, though.

he said he started with the 202 bin I put in the custom tunes thread already Antus.

that said I recall you said the injector rate was off and you increased the VE .....

it looks to me like at least one part of the VE table is on 99 and the lowest point is only on 40ish ..... this is telling me you need to drop the entire ve table by about 15% and increase the injector rate by 15% ..... if it is in fact lean at WOT at that high point your not going to be able to adjust it with your current settings.

so engine came out oil leak fixed (hopefully) and started again with the 202 bin today, i just kept upping the injector flow rate till it was idling with a good AFR then took if for a drive ended up stopping at end of street and going up again, ended up with 0.14 which ran much better didn't get alot of driving just adjusted the 1200- 2000 that was super lean up a bit, and smoothed it out and will get more data

mines does the same thing, but my motor always cranks over for ages (methanol fuel) really need to log the ignition module when cranking to see what the issue is, its probably just a sync issue with the cranking ... but VL400 will be able to offer more advice.

what spec cam and head is on this motor ? beginning to think your VE issues are because your motors got totally different flow characteristics .... but will be good once you getting running smooth we'll then have another 202 bin to add to the custom tunes section.

yeah that will be a better base tune for most people, cause mine was ported head and bigger cam, it shows in your top end being rich!

having no luck with the wideband spreadsheet, just seems to turn it into a jumbled mess. maybe i'm doing it wrong though.

so instead i just compared the wideband readings and manually adjusted the table
this is what i got off the wideband after a half hour drive

have yet to test it, this is the difference between the standard 202 bin

You can check how many readings each sell got. If it's low I'd ignore it.
Those readings can be affected by AE and DE which can throw the average out.

the other thing I normally do, use the spread sheets to make the ve table, paste it in, then view it in graph view and go over it and smooth all the low points up to match the ones around them.
