regardless of what diff you put in it, it still needs a solution for the torque tube, like the McDonald brothers kit above.

That kit I linked to is for "off road" use only in NSW as far as I am aware. I know firebug's Gem is a racer but for anyone thinking they can do that on a street registered car in NSW I don't think it's legal.

well its not that simple in a gemini ..... the McDonald bros kit would be way better ..... either way its all time and money.

I know its not, but I have seen it done a lot before. G's mate's Kerrrmit Gemi had a commodore disk end with CRS wilwood brakes and damn! does it handle. Its ironically is fully spooled too.

boss has bought the mcdonald bros kit for his gemini, since its now got a 9in (street car), fits pretty good,

@Macca, who was the engineering signatory? I asked about it a few yeas ago and was told by multiple signatories that no one would pass it under the new signatory system.

Firebug has been having some issues with his thermo fan attachment to the radiator, so he wanted to remedy it which required some welding of tabs onto the radiator to attach a proper shroud/fan assembly.

This wasn't my first attempt at alloy, but probably the first one i didn't want to fuck up

So there is a piece of angle welded to the botton of the radiator because there wasn't alot of options at the bottom for mounting, this also covers the entire bottom so it should stop air going around the radiator from the bottom rather than through. (the top of the picture)
This is one of the earlier welds i did it was ok but certainly not the most pretty.
And this was i think the last or second last, pretty happy with it!
I worked out as i was doing these that it works better with slightly less amps and heat for longer rather than having more amps which gets a puddle quicker but means you have to weld alot quicker after that and also makes a much wider weld.

Its all a good learning experience though and i believe the radiator is still structurally sound

I am sure firebug will update with the end result when it is done.

Bloody good considering its probably bad Chinese alloy
