hello,
I'm wanting to change my magnetic reluctor dizzy for a later hall effect dizzy.

what I have is a turbo ford crossflow in an XP falcon. I have used the JE Camira harness and Delco 808. I adapted the Camira ignition module to the Ford Mag reluctor dizzy. what I'm wanting to do now is to either use the XE or XF hall effect dizzy.

How do I wire this into my Camira harness?

I'm not sure on what exactly you need to do, but you will need a different ignition module.
What's the advantage of moving to a Hall effect?

Will need to wire in the modue from a V8 commodore and change the reference angle in the tune to suit.

ok so would need the v8 holden ignition module.

reference angle from 10degree to 60degree?
anybody have any wiring diagrams with what I'm needing?

the reference angle depends on the dizzy.... it will be 60ish degrees but you will have to use a timing light to get the reference angle perfect. start with a 60 deg reference angle in your tune, then you will have to time it during cranking with the computer unplugged, to time the dizzy to the 10 degrees position and lock it there, then plug the computer in and put it into diagnostic mode (engine light flashing) then start it and alter the reference angle until the computer commands 10 degrees as well.

you will need a V8 wiring diagram and wire the v8 ignition module up like that diagram.

can I ask what the reason is to go to hall effect ?

Hopefully the dissy is worth it because these modules aren't an upgrade in terms of reliability.

Just going by what research I have found is the Hall effect dizzy produces a cleaner signal at higher revs than mag reluctor dizzy. I may be wrong, please correct me if so.

You could call it cleaner but there is not a problem with reluctor based pickups. The waveform that comes out the reluctor is only timed at the zero crossing and there is sufficient filtering that normal amounts of noise dont cause any problems. Distributors can in theory be worse than typical hall effect from the crank due to play in the rotor causing slightly less accuracy versus measuring off the crank. But by converting the distributor to hall effect you'll not improve on that problem. Having said that my car is running reluctor on distributor and is plenty accurate enough for solid performance.
