rubber strip on vn commodore sill

so, under the door, running the length of the the sill (or rocker) there is a rubber strip on the VN.
i need to remove this as I have to paint that area (silver)
does anyone know how to get this off so it can be re-used OR is it a hack and slash /remove with flames (because fire) and put a new one there
advice appreciated

Nope, they are clipped on over studs on the sill, a light pry with something non scratching will do the trick.

Or just kick it off with your boots everytime you get out of the car like me :thumbup:

a spatula towards an end to get it started and just rip it off.

yep, came off no issues. like my fingerprints through sanding.
