Well my VTSS spun a main bearing!!
I just happened to have a a fully rebuilt VN efi 5ltr motor with side mount Power Flow Super Charger 10lbs pulley
So in it went!!
After swapping the dizzy out ( vt dizzy into the vn, hoping to keep sequential injection) n lots scrapped knuckles,
I finally got the VN 5ltr motor n Power Flow S/C into the VTSS, idling on 10 degrees timing,
Going in for maffless dedicated unites e85 tune next week!

Will only be using United e85 as I've researched and it's ment to be consistent 85% ethenol all year round here in QLD and easy to get as there's a few right near my place!

Just curious if any ones been down this path or does E85 mafless tunes that may have any tips or advise they'd like to share!!
I Have a VTSS running VN 5ltr with side mount Power Flow Super Charger running 10 pound boost
Specs are -

2 bar map sensor
Fully rebuilt vn efi 5ltr
9:5:1 compression
1.6 mm Cooper head gaskets
All bearing done
Cam dynamics cam 210/50/495 lift
Pavtec girdle
20 thou over STD bore
Flat top pistins, rings
120 lbs lt1 springs
Bosh 044, surge tank, 60lbs Siemens deka injectors, rising rate reg.

Swapped the vt dizzy into the rebuilt vn hoping to keep sequential injection
Using VT IAC lead to Vn mat sensors to pull some fuel n timing out if gets to hot as I don't have intercooler fitted just yet

3:9 gear
Stage 2 shift kit 4l60e
Pacemaker y trys
2 n a half inch exforce exhaust .

Any tips or advise would be great!
Cheers

as far as i am aware, to run mafless your going to need to change the computer as there is currently no map based option for it unless the place your getting it tuned uses kalmaker ?

Just what I was thinking where's the MAP code? Also not sure how compatible the IAT and MAT sensors are. I like the enthusiasm though. I'm sure a MAF could be used still maybe go to a 90mm LS1 MAF? Pretty sure there's calibration data on here from The1 for that.

Holden202T is right with the MAF.

What style are your main bearing caps, 2 or 4 bolt? What bearing spun, number 4 by any chance?
A stud girdle wont help much with only 2 bolt mains infact all it will really do is stop the mains moving in relation to each other (i.e. forwards and backwards) but it won't stop main bearings spinning when your running hard with forced induction.

I have a VT HSV350 and it is currently running with an 808 using VT sensors except for the MAP which is bog stock standard VN.

Thanx for the feed back, an yes I'm getting it tuned this Friday at horse power solutions in capalaba QLD by Barry who has extensive kalmaker knowledge so I'll let you all no the outcome. As fare as the IAT to MAT sensor I'm not sure they are same ohms n volts but well see how go
Is anyone using the United e85 on a mafless tune?

The United is advertised as 85% all year around. I once was at a United in Melbourne and the bowser had a test result on the bowser for that tank fill from the day before so that's always good to see.
United spply the V8 Supercars. Im sure it will be up to the task.

From what I know. You'll nees to go to a older model ECU the 424 from VR series a very capable ecu don't let that worry you. Or retain the MAF which isn't a real problem either. Keep us posted on the outcome hopefully we can learn something. Post up the tune too if you get a chance.
