enabling write in '424' ecu
enabling write in '424' ecu
Hi guys
I purchased a NVRAM module from antus about 12 months ago and have lost the instructions for where to solder the wire to enabling write function in the VR '424' ecu.
if anyone has a copy of them would you please pm me a copy. cheers lads

thanx man
dunno if you remember but you were after one of the bins that I posted a while ago my old account was IMA355 but tried resetting password but cant get into it so had to make a new account. my laptop died and lost the bins but I still have the old memcals. so I can get them again if you still need them. cant remember which one you were after tho
I ended up just running a switch for the reverse lockout on the t56, its a bit of a but less hassle than changing ecu's and repining harnesses to let the ecu control it lol

Re: enabling write in '424' ecu
hi guys
so I have the NVRAM installed and have soldered the write wire into the "424" ECU
I have setup tunerpro with OSE plugin and configured the cable and can get emulation to work. The problem im having is that I cant write to the ECU.
Had a read of the ose plugin documentation and in the hardware box in the bottom of tunerpro I just says "hardware OSE11 Pro V1.04". is this supposed to detect NVRAM and give some sort of a different code/configuration?
I have tried to just change the VSS pulses just to check that its all working and whenever I try to update it returns and error saying update failed.
any advice greatly appreciated

Re: enabling write in '424' ecu
is the write jumper on the nvram board ?
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!
Just starting out? Have a read of the getting started guide
Basic tuning of a delco ECM with $12P thread
Advanced tuning of a delco ECM with $12P thread

Hey 202
I had a look at some of the documentation and my Nvram does not see to have a jumper for write?

Re: enabling write in '424' ecu
Is that a NVRAM or an EEPROM fitted to the board?

Looks like an SST Flash not a NVRAM to me.

Where did that 'nvram' come from?
According to chemistry, alcohol is a solution...

its pcmhacking cant remember who its was that I ordered it off.Biggvl wrote:Where did that 'nvram' come from?
