Looked up the specs for the VT rear, I think in my case the group A will be a lot better as its vented and not solid as the VT ones are. Heat being the biggest issue with older commodore models often the rears overheating well before the front do as in the case of all my cars. The group a also have a piston in the rear caliper so more force and better heat rejection.

They got the larger HSV versions which are vented. I recall they need 17" rims though?

They can custom make them to suit any disk or caliper

mine fit the std VT rear disk and caliper on a 15" wheel

commodorenut wrote:Here is an awesome rear brake upgrade for solid axel VN-VS commodores.

You can run STD Rear VT-VZ Disks or even go all the way up to 343mm Rear Disks

I have used these many times before and they are awesome, McDonald Bros in Melbourne do the kit.

I want this set up for my VS live axle rear. I currently run the 315mm rear vented disc & calipers that come in the UPC kits.
Some one was selling the conversions through evilbay every now & then I saw.

The guys name was Turbo202. He was on eBay of years. He had a website too. Gone now. I have his shoes on the rear of my beast. I have a walk thru on how to weld and modify to suit the later VT-VZ rotors somewhere. I will see if I can post tomorrow.

I wonder if they make a similar conversion for early IRS cars?
