Don't you love how cats just always find that magical spot which wrecks everything?rolls wrote:Happy to say that I've finally killed my first PCM. I tried all sorts of odd things to see what would kill them but they were always recoverable.
Note to others, don't remove the metal casing off the PCM and let your cat sleep on the PCB for a week, I think the static finally did it in. Sits there trying to unlock and times out every time so I'm guessing its killed the FEPS input some how as it will still read parts of the memory.

Re: PCMTec Development Blog
So with workshop purchase you get you first tune included but then pay for credits after that?
Is there ongoing subscription fee?
How much is it to license each ecm or tcm?

For those of you who haven't been following on facebook we are working on flex fuel with everything almost ready to go.
Full explanation and details on here.
https://forum.pcmtec.com/index.php?/top ... iscussion/
Custom operating systems are $250 to license (eg boost by gear, tmap/boost sensor combination and flex fuel).

Must have missed this. No ongoing subscription, once you purchase the software that is it. Each PCM costs $150 to license, or if you simply want to return to stock it costs $50. You get 1 free TCM license per PCM you license. So if you did 2 manuals and 1 auto, you could license 3 TCMs for free.VX L67 Getrag wrote:So with workshop purchase you get you first tune included but then pay for credits after that?

Good work on the flex fuel !!!!
It is something i wouldn't mine in my commodore due to the locations of United's near me.
But its something to think about of my turbo territory that I'm getting tuned soon

Re: PCMTec Development Blog
We have partial write now as well. 10-12 second writes!
Makes testing much easier as you can have a parameter changed and written in about 30 seconds maximum. Don't even have time to check facebook during a flash now!
