i have 2 memcals i'm trying to read a BWPJ and a CJKU i'm sure they are both 27c010 eproms but i can't read them.
i have a willem eprom programmer and i dont have any trouble reading and writing 128 and 256 chips but this is the first time
i have tried one of theese larger eproms. the software does a read but i'm pretty sure it just reads garbage it's different everytime
and it will give an error when trying to verify.
i have tried version .97ja and .97g software and can't get it to work.
any ideas?
Thanks
problem with 27c010
Re: problem with 27c010
I have recently seen a problem caused by one of the dip switches not acutally connecting when you turn it on. it was one where with smaller chips is it supposed to be off anyway but with the larger ones it should have been on. was gettin some garbage like yours.
something to look at anyway
