as far as i'm aware only the turbo diesels and V6's were fitted with 151 and 150 box's. the easiest way to tell what is there is by the plate on the firewall. next to trans it will have either r150f or r151(f?), these are what you'll be looking for if a conversion will be done. As i mentioned earlier some will say the G52 (would be on the plate) is strong enough as found in other models but from past experiences i highly disagree.Jayme wrote:I had a bit of a look, but if I could ask a dumb question... from what I can tell, the R151 came out in some diesel hiluxs, do you know which models it came out on, and how can I identify one? is it stamped on the exterior of the box somewhere?
thanks

Still building the bugger (and lurking around here), one day after the list is done i'll get to use the realtime board and get it moving again
As it currently sits frame for the rear shocks to mount when they arrive couple of shots of the diff of death Things to do
finish the suspension, build fuel and water tanks, get prop (tail) shafts modded, internal cage, external bar work, build sump, complete rewire (have stripped the lot), new brake and fuel lines.
