Dear All,

I have Bosch ECU Motronic 1.5.4

This ECU has no Diagnosict connector only Test switch terminal to set initialize spark time, I could not check DTC as well as erase DTC.

Anyone can help me to check or do any things with this ECU.

The similar ECU's are used in Russian cars. Pin 55 is used as K-line.

About 5 years ago i made and sold a project of a scan tool that supports many old ecus. One of them was the M 1.5.4, it can read dtc, clean dtc, and read data from sensors. The protocol for this ecu is called kw82 and there is an official GM documment telling everything about this protocol. Its 10400bps and the signalling is electrically very similar to iso9141, if you use an usb serial cable and an iso9141 transceiver like L9637 i think that you can make a very simple software to comunicate with this module. If you still are interested on this protocol i can search and try to upload this pdf here. Take a look on my YouTube channel Zorktronics, here you will see two or three modules that i showed there how my scanner works.
