odb2 not working with tp5 and tech2

hi all iv done a vx l67 4l60e auto conversion on my 82 hilux 4wd. i can't get my tech 2 or tp5 to communicate with computer. im using a marks4wd loom with obd2 plug. iv checked all wires they are good. its got no bcm and vats off on memcal

tunerpro should talk, though you may need to turn of BCM silence in the ADX. See link below. Tech2 will prob be useless as it'l want to check every module before hand.

got it connected with tp5 but doesn't show data and stays at 11.29hz

11.29Hz means its recording live data.
Have you opened up the dash display?

This doesnt change where you are at and is more for people landing on this thread from elsewhere but its worth noting that the OBD2 style connector is carrying ALDL data, with the exception of LS1 where its carrying VPW and ALDL.

What adx are you using? What code are you using, I assume you've had it modded for vats off

VX_V6_SC_$A5K_Enhanced_v1.3c adx. memcal was done by mace engineering with vats turned off.
