Kojab and I have agreed on terms for the Tech 1 he has posted pics of. He, naturally, is concerned over the possibility of it getting lost in Australia Post's wonderful system. Truth be told so am I as I have purchased items before and Australia Post has never delivered them. So I am wondering if anyone is travelling between Sydney and Maitland or Cessnock sometime this coming week. I'll be in Maitland and Cessnock

, not at the same time

on Saturday February 18 and can pick the item up from anyone who is willing to do a "hot potato" delivery. Otherwise it will be through Australia post with insurance and still worried about it getting lost

If anyone is able to help out please PM me and we can organise something.

Unfortunately I've had things go missing never to be found even with a tracking number and insurance.

I had one registered parcel that got stuck in a loop and was going back and forth for a month. Aust post had no answer and suggested the sender send another and put in a claim. Tow parcels then arrived so we sent one back.

Courier is an option as long as its not StarTrack which is Australia Post anyway and I know the guys who offload the trucks up here and they are rough when they offload.

When I lived in SA they were really good, moved back to NSW and it would take 10 days to get something from Melbourne and that was slower than parts would come from the US. I think but cannot prove there is a problem in my local area. I can't wait to get away from here.

if you want to complain about auspost and get some action on something - get on social media. they have a really good presence and will help where they can.
flame suit on : i work for them at the moment as well (in IT, not parcels).
