Hey mate how much was the 'chinese' manifold and throttlebody? And where did you get it from?
My brother wants to go injected but doesn't want the banana manifold and wants it to look old school like yours but doesn't want to spend a fortune

Manifold was 250, from roadstar auto parts on ebay, pretty much a copy of the redline hiwinder, thrpttle body is procomp, gasp! Just need to check the butterfly adjustment, my rear barrels were going over centre put of the box, got the throttle body on sale at $170

Fuel rails are standard 5 litre which i made my own brackets and drilled and tapped the rails to mount them

I have the same manifold on my wifes HX but hers is still running a carby.
Manifold seems to work fine without any known issues.

You say factor air oldskool, is it not hooked up yet ?

Yeah, car was factory, royal plum purple, 253, 4spd, with 3.55 diff and factory air, didn't want to use the factory power sucking compressor so ive mounted a new sanden one where the alternator usually is then flipped the alternator up on its original position, thats why u can see the alternator up top in the air, running a standard viscous hub fan too

Just need to make up the hoses for the ac and fit another drier, building another trans for it at the moment though so that's soaking up the funds, have a back up trans in it at the moment after breaking one but have to go very gentle on it as it just slips if i crack the rear barrels

Can you post a pic of the alternator & compressor setup ?
I can visually guess it.
Im wanting to swap the wifes HX over to EFI, however the AC bracket will foul the fuel rails.
