Ironed out some more bugs today.

Have gone back to the standard coolant contribution and charge temp tables.

Removed quite a bit of fuel from second stage crank table and can get it started no worries when hot now. Needs a touch of throttle but will sort that out once everything else is roughly right.

Fixed a coolant leak, had to drill out and tap a tapered thread into the manifold and fit a bung. Manifold must of had a straight thread and even with sealer was leaking.

Have found a vacuum leak from #7 injector oring which we will fix before going any further

If the iac steps are set to something sane like 20 steps hot Up the crank steps can't think of the name of the setting off the top of my head but it will let more air in while cranking and stop you needing to give it throttle

Found the crank IAC steps you were talking about.
Still had trouble with cold starts so we have pulled more crank BPW at colder temperatures.

After the vacuum leak we had trouble with the clutch cable melting near the headers and O2 sensor not working. Have fitted a 4 wire o2 and got a longer cable made up to clear the headers better. There's always something else to fix up lol.

We have spent a few hours on the dyno and VE table is pretty good and hot running is pretty much done.
Made 300 rwhp at around 5600rpm which should be close to 400hp at the flywheel. It still had more to give but we decided not to rev it past 6000. Peak torque was around 3500-4000rpm but theres plenty all the way along. Max timing was 29 degrees and 12.5AFR. Safe to say my brothers pretty happy with it.

Next thing to sort out is AE. At the moment the multiplier is maxed out at 2.55. It initially goes very rich then lean before stabilising. I know theres a decay period as well which will be the problem.

Also have to do coolant contribution and charge temp tables to perfect cold and warmup conditions

I see what that engine did there.
