Does anyone have any experience building something to control an instrument cluster through the SCP bus? For example an arduino taking analog signals and converting them to J1850 so the ICC (from a 2000 Mustang) as a whole reads/responds to the vehicle's sensors? Ultimately what I was thinking of doing was retro fitting this cluster into an older non OBDII/CAN equipped vehicle.

Would be a huge amount of work, the ICC is quite a complex beast in later model cars. Probably be less work to create your own from scratch to be honest.
