I want to change my diff ratio i have two lsd irs diffs and 3.45 gears or crownwheel and pinion etc to go into one and have been looking for some sort of guide on how to do it.
Has anyone seen a good write up anywhere on how to adjust lsd tensions and shim it or whatever as i can't find one.
Or know of anyone in sydney that would do it at a reasonable price.

if it requires offset shims then you need to really see a diff place, most all commodore diff's i've ever had anything to do with all seem to have the same size shims, so when i changed from 3.08 to 3.45 diff i needed slightly different shims and of course that means seeing the diff guys.
i had a quote to do new pinion shaft bearings, seals and crush tube and set it all up $350-400 .... assuming there was nothing else wrong with the diff that is.
as far as Sydney people, no idea sorry!

Yeah i have the shims that came with the 3.45 center and the ones from both the lsd's am hoping i can come across a guide as to what the clearances and tensions should be if mine don't work it will be off to a diff shop thanks.
also read somewhere about using some sort of an oil resistant loctite but didn't get the name of it.

http://www.differentials.com/install.html
http://www.differentials.com/specsi.html
that site lists loctites for it too .... i've never used it in any of the stuff i've done
