Does SPS effect HSV ISS when updating VE BCM

I have a HSV VE GTS that I need to do an update on the BCM and the IPC (there are service updates available) and was wondering if anybody knew if doing so would lock down the ISS or is it only when you try to program keys that, that happens?

No ISS in the HSV VE's Big G
After updating BCM, need to do a brakepedal relearn, as that gets cleared, will be an option under programming in your scantool.

Nope!
Security in a HSV is exactly the same as a Holden.
