Is there a way to get a fresh calibration file for my car without getting a subscription to acdelcotds?

Not really - the stand alone tis2web and a tech2 will have something if you have that software and you car is old enough (you havnt said what car). Or you can just ask here and someone might have it (you'd need to specify what your doing with it and what format you need) Or subscription for SPS for 1 vin is not very expensive. Cheaper than the tools to use it.
