vy series 2 gearbox differences

Hi Guys
chasing a bit of feedback here and verification. i have been told by an auto builder that there are differences in the builds internally electrically and solenoids/ valve bodies by month for the series 2 vy calais run plug tops are the same colour and numbers are identical minus the last 4 digits on the bar code which i assume is the serial no. 34917 vs 35025. can anyone verify this. you would assume there would be differences in the maps for the shift points if this is the case by month or year. again series 2 vy.
