if you just want to install the Wideband to do some testing just put it in place of the narrow band and leave the narrowband out ... wont effect WOT anyways

Yeah I guess i can also disable close loop to test the AFR getting it running closer then go from there. If only it was easy to get the sensor in and out. Anyway I'll keep chipping away hoping to get to the bottom of it soon less then 3 month to it all starts.

Well today I've done a quick data log with the WB in the exhaust tip just out of interested to see how the AFR looked. Sorry this is a large file/log but covers different speeds. From the looks of it it does follw the target fairly well. Will have to do a compare with it in the Narrow band spot.

Is there any way to "cut" section out of a log for future reference so i can log a drive then post relative sections of information only instead of a huge file.

One thing I'm still not sure about is the o2 seonsor It is a new sensor but the input doesn't really swing much in closed loop until I'm crusing at over 80km is this normal? I have another ecu board modded for both NVRAM and USB board is it worth giving it a try?

Still sorting through the log trying to see anything strange But I've Attached some photos of the Tail pipe sniffer i was using due in the Log above. Yes it is home made but worked well on the celica.

only issue i can see what that is the pipe being so small could restrict the air flow into the sensor and possibly make it read a bit behind the actual engine in a log.

And I have to agree with you on that as it showing on the log but at the same time should be able to give an idea of what is happening. The plan is to swap the NB with the WB this weekend and compare information to see if it is viable for future use or not.

WB In NB hole Engine running very lean at low rpm with low loads about 10% change in VE table was required to get ball park figures.

Here is the Log before i started playing.
