Hey again,

Trying to find the pin out to wire up my alternator off a 1999vs

It’s got only 2 pins but not sure what’s what.

Also I only need one wire to excite the alternator? (It comes from the charge warning signal light in the dash correct?)
I see allot have a second wire straight to the battery charge wire?

Any help be great.

The 2nd wire is to measure the battery voltage.

So it’s for the internal reg?

Yep, one wire to the dash warning light, other wire to the battery.

3 in total

1 to dash (excite wire n light)

1 to battery for internal reg

1 to battery for main charge?

Correct. If you leave off the battery sensing wire it will overcharge. I have cheated in the past and just connected it to the main output terminal but best go to the battery.

It seems most just go straight to the main output..

Still chasing the pin out though so I no wats what in the plug

I guess it either work or it won’t n that’ll mean I gotta swap the wires around eh
