hello I am trying to read full contents of my ecu so I can make a few changes. the ecu is locked and I am able to bypass it using the recovery method, however once kernel is uploaded I don't see any responses and its stuck on 0%

Try version 005. I think there might be a timing problem with the STPX command in 006. It works for NSFW but there have been reports for it not working for some people. I think the timing is too borderline and the interface fails the request a fraction too fast for some hardware/some situations.

If you have got the skills, feel free to build the app from source, and try adding a small amount of padding to the delay calculation in the scantool code and see how that goes. If it does we'll apply the same changes to the official code and release an update with credit to you.

Same thing no response. So I thought I'll go ahead and make a bench harness. However I rang up every single wreckers in south australia within 50km of adelaide. And non of them will part with loom end or a connector with no wires for at least +200 dollers. They only sell complete looms. South australia sucks.
I'm not 100% confident messing with the source code as you suggested. So I thought I might get a spare ecu however wreckers want +220 for ls1 ecu. Crazy

What about sending your ecu to someone you trust to check it out?
