hi I have been trying to open up my bin file with efilive and it fails saying I have a custom operating system.
I can open up this bin file in tunerpro rt no problems and all the data looks perfectly fine.
Is there any such operating system number as 1271001. seams to me its actually a made up number someone put in there to make it harder to open up the tune?? mind u it is also locked, had to recovery mode to download the bin. I am pretty sure my operating system would be 12225074. that's the xdf I am using in tunerpro to read the bin with no problems. even change few things and write it back to my ecu.
and if so is there a way to change my os number to 12225074 so I can open it up in Efilive? tuner pro will not allow editing the os number.

I believe that would be a HP Tuners custom OS.

go to the calz file location in efilive, find the 12225074 .calz file. copy/paste the file then rename it to match the 1271001 file.

That will get it open in efilive

Ok verified it is hptuners tuned ecu. It is a 12225074 os with 1 bar map speed density vcm enhancement (tested using vcm editor 2.24 demo) cannot edit file though :(
Does anyone know if there is any xdf that can read the extra calibrations for tunerpro.
