:comp: Well GM finally went back to 10 head bolts and the Cadillac firing order. If you're gonna beat up on me then I will have to go beat up my ford fack that does my cylinder heads and I do his carburetors. Shite, WTH? :mrgreen:

Most everyone has made that mistake, glad you caught it quick.

There is only one way to do it, any other way is failure prone, and that is to physically watch the valve action while rotating by hand!

Take rocker cover off and watch the valves? cylinder 1 :think:

Yes sir ... Or use a cheap endoscope in today's world!

NO BUMP with starter either!
Rotate by hand only.
