Currently have a 27sf512 chip and wondering is it possible to burn a vr bin file onto it and use it in a 808 ecu?

I have access to a VR 5L Manuel ecu, can I use that ecu and a VN loom? Will be fitted to a VB commy

$12 or 12P will be fine, $11 and 11P files will not work as the architectures of the PCM/ECUs are different to each other.

sweet so I can burn 12P tune onto the chip via stacking and it will work in the 808 ecu apart from the baud rate stuff

You can just offset the program to 8000. That's all I do.

yeah it depends on the programmer, some cant do partial writes. when 'stacked' its only the second copy thats used. whats in the bottom half isnt relevant, it can be all 00, all FF, a second copy of the file, it just builds a file the same size as the chip that all programmers can handle.

That's what I do as well. Works a treat.

I've done it hundreds of times and to be honest I have no idea how to stack a bin file.
