vlad01 wrote:I could, but I will need your original memcal as it has the correct v8 netres chips and v8 knock filter. I only got V6 ones here which means the knock filter is different as well as the netres chips.
I can send it over with tracking and pay for the tracking back. Let me know if you are keen to have a go with it?
The other spare one that is pictured in my other thread asking about the ecm’s.

Got an idea :!:
How about a swap with your mate, just to verify it does do better with it, then go the next step

I see. But when you consider doing it 'par avion', you would really need to be able to test it in a vehicle or some other way, as there are many cases where a poorly soldered joint would result in a dud. You may need to shuffle the memcal to and fro. Wouldn't it be better to be sure you are doing this for a gain, rather than just an exercise?
Lean on your mate. See what he's made of.

I don't want to risk your VL group A memcal, but that HSV V8 one will do, I have a feeling all V8 netres chips are the same type anyway, as long as it has the V8 knock filter there its fine.
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.
