Yeah some reason on mdi pim was on a 10 min lockout. But that was waited out. Will try another ecu as that one ended up dieing on me..... damn VZs

Being that it responded straight up with that, yeh it sounds like PIM lockout. I might change the failed message to also suggest lockout as another reason for failure.

I havn't captured the message if possible to read the lockout timer value from the PIM. That could also be included to check after the failure message perhaps.

Yeah that would be a good idea. I'm sure I could deliberately lock a few out I have here if you need a test bunny

yeh if your able to a capture the scantool reading the timeout value would be the main thing. i havn't had much time of late to get back into this but i will at some point, i have fixed a few bugs.

After writing the vin on a bench set up remember to switch off ignition supply before battery supply

Posted up last version i did with a few bug fixes and put source code up, might be useful for anyone else creating other free/donate programs for other use's.
