Wow.. just gave it a crack and grabbed a subscription for shits and gigs.

Not only did it decide to just uninstall my MDI manager, by GDS2 and tech2win. Then persists to enforce using 'its' version.

Yeah no.. Imma stick to original tis2web.

Sounds like gm finally pushed everyone thru techline disconnect.. Go ahead and change the shortcut to reflect that, it'll make you feel better at least. They made gm dealers switch to this or nothing months ago.

They just pushed an update thru on the 5th of this month, made the connection problem worse and no idea on anything else.

Tazzi, you have a choice to stick with tis2web?

Yeah I have a choice with tis2web.

But dealers do also appear to still have a choice with tis2web though.

we used to have a choice but they took it away about 2 weeks ago, others lost it a month ago.. The tis2web link is still there in globalconnect but it doesn't go anywhere... I'm guessing your part of the end stage and you'll lose it eventually as well..

is it still possible for me to choose the old tis2web somehow as well then or is it gone?

i couldnt add a vin i purchased today...

im about to ring Detroit

Nah, cant add old vin options, thats why I bought their new system to see what the hell it was all about. Guess only time will tell if mine goes away.

Kinda stupid if you ask me, they have built it all into an app which can be pulled apart... just saying...
