Any recommendations for getting 2 sided multi layer smt loaded PCB's done up ??

Looking to get some of these DHP Kepler J2534 done up.

The BOM is ~US$44.59 from Digi-Key and ~US$44.11 from Mouser.

I'm also thinking about this route OSHPark Purple PCB and purchase this Mophorn Reflow Oven T962 and fix it's problems.
The problem with this option, I'll also want a mask printer ...

I do have a Arduino Reflow Toaster Oven ... single sided works sorta, good luck with two sided.

0.5mm pitch micro and double sided SMD? That's quite a challenge for DIY construction. You might have to go with a PCB supplier that also offers prototyping.

It's the quantity factor that has me concerned on having someone do them ... I don't know how many folks will want one.

Done so I can make prototypes at home without having to due expensive runs at fab houses.

For dual size, this is tricky. You would need to use solder paste which re-melts at a higher temperature on a second reflow so parts do not come off when doing the other side.

Also need to 'raise' the PCB when its having parts placed on it so the machine knows the depth, so that both sides are done at the same height and allows flipping over for doing the other side.

I mentioned in a pm to Gampy that I have been using jlcpcb.com for proto work as they will do small quantity super cheap and ship in two days. Also my local dude, that has been helping me with my gerber's, can do surface placement stuff and I'm building him a LS for his '64 Caddy so we have some wiggle room/tradeout if anyone needs anything

They want US$51.10 for one board ... for just a bit more I can get 25 boards and a solder mask from jlcpcb.com.

jlcpcb.com does not have the MCU in stock (ATSAM4E8CA), that means they won't place it and it is the hardest component to place, thus it would be pointless to have them populate the boards.

Very similar to my Arduino oven ... Yes, it worked, I had a difficult time getting even consistency, it's hotter in some spots then others.
Careful attention to placement and it was ok for small pieces, but anything larger then about 100mm was hard to get it to flow evenly.
It got what I needed to get done, done, I tossed it aside, it's buried in the store room.

Never tried double sided, but yea, I suspect different temp paste outta get it done ...

Another thing is the boards have to be stable and level, heat moves them so they cannot be precariously propped up!
I made four 1" long aluminum standoffs that have a 1/2" base and 1/16" tops.

I'm curious as to how that DIY pick and place works out.
