I never knew these cars had a LSD as an option. Great way to pull an engine out. That's what I need. Plenty of room and a big machine. Keep up the great work.

I think most pulsar 'Q's are LSD and the Vector 'SSS' are too. Unfortunately the CV place I ordered through said they didn't have any LSD shafts for a pulsar so I spent the day swapping out the gearbox with the 1.6L non-LSD and put about 200kms on it. Error code 44 - Lean exhaust in closed loop mode. The idle takes a couple of seconds to drop down so probably a gasket or injector o-ring. The O2 sensor was taken from the 1.6L so I assume it's OK.

Repco can get a pair in for $150 ea so I'll probably grab them if this box lets go after the build or if I need an LSD. Otherwise it's money that can go elsewhere. Surprising how much a handful of AN fittings are...

My 'Shaft play is OK' 2.2L Ford ranger VNT turbo arrived. Shaft is sooo bad its run the wheels into the housings and shredded the blades. I was planning on it to be wrecked and was cheap enough so I just ordered the CHRA for it. I should have a fully functional turbo in a few days which won't choke the motor up or boost uncontrollably.

They're a pretty handy little digger to have around the farm. Makes all the hard work quick and easy, fencing, trenching, septic, grading.

When I see 'Repco' the alarm bells start ringing. They would have to be the most expensive parts by a mile.
However, when they have clearances, nobody can touch them for price :)
These are much cheaper, free delivery and a further 10% off:

That's the pair I ordered, only to be told they don't have them a couple of days later.

I'll try Bursons, Autobarn and Auto one next time I'm in town.

Laser cut exhaust flanges are inbound! All parts were cut within the quoted lead time (5 days), update emails throughout the process, replies within 10min. I can't believe how much of a dick that other guy was...

The new turbo core arrived and is fitted in the new Turbo housing. It was a bit of a puzzle working out how the nozzle assembly goes back together. I should have taken pics, a neat bit of engineering in there!

I'll order the steampipe when the flanges arrive. I'm hoping to be able to use one size up for the log manifold to get it flowing a little better.

If anyone knows someone selling a cheap 18LE motor, let me know! It'll be nice to have a spare

They're here! And possibly picking up a spare motor this week.

Let's make a manifold!

A guy on the Pulsar groups of FB did them up for a tuned exhaust he was working on. They came out perfect!

The steampipe arrived so I'll get cracking on this manifold tomorrow, work permitting. I've got 1 1/2" pipe which is a lot larger than my last log manifold and should flow a heap better into the larger turbo.

Very nice lazer cut flange. Looks like mass production occurring.

Yes they do fit very nicely for what you are doing with iron pipe, they would not be so good for tubes.

The image angle is bad, how close is the plug, get a socket on it ok ??
Looks kinds close, could just be the angle though.
