What do you use to link?
I've always had to open them up and read the eeprom

I've only replaced 1 & was a weird fuel gauge issue from memory & looking at my notes I just did same method as e55, got security code from GM for VIN & reset ecu & then linked it in.

Tried finding Code on Bench. E77. comes up blank. Vin wirtes fine though. And gets the OS and cals

Managed to connect to a E77, Go to find code and it says 2000. Try to hit reset and goes from 0 - 50 then comes up with error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object"
Type 2000 into the code box and press rest and it starts at 2000 then ends at 2050 and says the same as above.

The brute force is unfinished that's why it crashes
