yep that reset it great work, now to link it back in when original unit was dead, i read what im guessing is security rom inside the ecu but 2881 isn't linking with the program going to try tech2. i also tried 8128 and 1882 just incase.

Once the ecu is reset you can link with any code you like.
Code isn't stored in the TDM.(from what ive seen with E77 and E39)
Haven't linked an E69 in a car to test it.
What happens after the 10 minute wait time ?

The link function is the same as the tech2 with the tdm 10 minute wait time.

yeh i waited a more than 10mins.

I did it tech2 2881 worked and it relinked itself. Going into immobilizer menu and program, then select ecu.

spoke to late, it cranks now but has P0633 Immobilizer Key Not Programmed – ECM/PCM

So might reset and try again.

Try reset then link with tech2

Update V0.01
Added E38 (Untested till i get one in the shop)
Added 10 second delays for resetting routines and Ignition cycle messages required after resetting and linking.
