I made a mistake.
The SPS function i thought was a relearn was an immobilizer(TDM) Flash update for the TDMS with an EEPROM chip

What ive noticed is when you turn the ignition off for more than 6 seconds, Next time you turn ignition on it broadcast the tdm immobilizer code on CAN ID 0x3C9
If ECU is reset or has P0633 (Immobilizer Key Not Programmed) set ecu will save immobilizer data

eg 4988EEFB567D34448341E151A57AB2A6F117 BF8F781C9531 C23EFD
"BF8F781C9531" = Crypto key
"C23EFD" = Key config password

perhaps problem i was having as i was programming then trying to start straight after instead of key on and wait. If it's cranking then perhaps it cancels it and doesn't resend so your left to then reset it and start again.

Ill have to wait for a one to come in to try it out

Code reader and Vin write not working on E39 Series 2

E39 series 2 can be brute forced at 2 seconds a key (up to 5h 30m).
Must have a bcm connected.
No need to link just reset, will update immobilizer data on a power cycle.
Will be implemented in V0.08.
