PK Ranger 2.5 & 3.0L Auto TCM read-write

Does anybody know what trans control module is in the early ranger/bt50 & what can read/write them?
I know in the later PX with 3.2L & 2.2L they have the 6R80(TC1766) & can be read & write easily, but not sure about the earlier 1's?
