PCM Hammer Release 021

They go by many names, P01, P59, VPW, '0411 etc. Also covering E38 and newer here.

Select the OBDX Pro device as a serial device, do not select it as a J2534 device.

Update: All sorted!!!

The serial device connection did the trick, stock tune read and saved. Will work through my fan settings now and edit & write the tune back in the next few days. Thanks again Tazzi, you’re a wizard!

Should this (PCMHammer 021.2) currently work with an E38?

Test device is from
VIN 2CNDL63F276121380
2007 Chevrolet Equinox 2WD (6 Cylinders F 3.4L FI OHV 207 CID)

ODBXplorer worked to read faults, so I think my hardware is mostly verified.

I'll go into more detail if this is user error. I'm definitely a newb to Gen3/4 controllers. I found a reference to one of my old files in the FAQ, so I hope I've contributed a tiny bit. Would love to be able to contribute again.

Hiya,
As far as I know, PcmHammer does not work on e38's yet.

Correct, no CAN computers are supported. Only P01/P59, P10, P12 VPW computers. And there is a different test version with some P04/P08 VPW, but that is still a work in progress and currently no eta.

No worries. I'll see what I can learn about the VPW controllers. I've got a pair of those (one in service and one on bench). If I can contribute either bin or aid in testing, just ask. I'll be tinkering with those. Specs/info below.
Thanks for the great work!

Thanks. Testing is not needed at the moment, we need developer help on the C# programming side of the actual app.
