Hi guys. i'm doing a bit of research before embarking on a project. can an '808 handle 2200cc injectors? they'd be high impedance bosch deals. for some reason i thought it was limited to 1000cc or so. i had a bit of a search, and found the calculator, but no mention of a maximum size.

As far as the ECU goes it's the resistance not the flow. The problem may be getting the duration low enough for idle but that's also dependant on the requirement for the engine.

there is no practical limit. the injector flow doesnt affect the electrical requirements. it can make it harder to tune idle because big injectors often struggle to inject consistant small amounts of fuel. because of this its even more important to get opening time vs voltage correct and you can also get some benifit from the single/double fire options below a given ms pulse too.

thanks for the clearing that up. dunno where i got that idea. it'll be on e85, so that'll help with the low pulsewidth stuff with any luck.

Seen 2000cc used no worries.

yep im running 2000cc injectors no problems in mine, the injector rate is getting down (.0204) but theres still room to go larger!

im running methanol, the low pulse width flow is still ok on these too, its not a full mist but its certainly a lot better than the dekas i used to have!
