Supercharged Big Block chevy ecu

So I have a 165 repined to 808 and I love $12p. I have a friend who screwed up and lost the ecu for a 1993 big block chevy tbi supercharger th350 trans. Should I have him order a 165 and do the entire pinout or is there a better option?

If you’re already familiar with 12P and 165 ECU’s are readily available I’d see no reason not to head that way.
Just check on TBI support or if better running a port injection setup, hopefully someone with more experience with TBI can comment.

I wouldn't have thought there would be many wiring changes between 808 and 165?
