Checksum errors?

I am new to the whole world of ECM editing. I currently have a couple different ECMs. They are all red/blue units. I have downloaded two XDF files. If I use this XDF 12212156 - 2002 512k V1 to make changes to the ECM regardless of the bin file used it passes the checksum test in PCM Hammer . If I use this XDF 12208322 - 2001 512k to make changes to the ECM regardless of the bin file used it fails the checksum test in PCM Hammer. I have attached both XDF files. Am I doing something wrong?

the files are not attached properly, but It often comes up, the one thats breaking the file needs a checksum plugin which you dont have. Where the file was originally released there would normally be a zip which would include the plugin and the xdf. If your not applying code patches (this is normally the case) and if the xdf is not locked you can delete the operating system checksum by editing the xdf and the list of checksums and removing it.

I am not sure why the files didn't upload the first time. After doing more looking at the XSF files I was able to verify that the checksum on the 12208322 file is incorrect. I do not remember where I found that XDF file so I can not get any patches for it. I am able to correct the problems by using universal patcher. Thank you for directing to where the issue is.
