I don't have to try it to know it won't work, the only tools that LS Droid supports are the ones from OBDX Pro.
A few comments up I linked to the official list of supported hardware from Pete S (the creator of LS Droid and one of the co-creators of OBDX Pro)

putting a 3400 from a 2005 Monte Carlo into a 1982 Chevette. I haven't started the engine yet, among other things I still need to weld my oil pan back together - I cut a big section out so it would clear the crossmember & steering rack. So far PCM-wise, I've just read mine, disabled VATS and the auto trans DTCs and wrote it back, then re-read it to verify that the write was successful.

Hypothetically speaking, could his PCM be bench flashed with the old offline TIS2000?

TIS2000/SPS would just flash the latest stock software onto the module.

I need it to match the se bcm which isnt possible unless vats is removed. I do want tis2000 cause i read they have wiring diagrams. Trying to setup virtual machine on windows 11 and then windows 2000 pro to run tis2000Gatecrasher wrote:TIS2000/SPS would just flash the latest stock software onto the module.

No, its the obdxpro.com one zack4200 linked. They also have the VT which is cheaper, and only does VPW protocol. This is the protocol you need, and it'll work too. https://obdxpro.com/product/obdx-pro-vt/DethRattles wrote:I thought it was this https://www.vxdas.com/products/xprog-m-programmer , You feel like trying that for me? I'll pay for shippingzack4200 wrote:the tool antus mentioned is the OBDX Pro GT, and is is just newer and supports more protocols over the VT, but it's not needed for the p04. I've read and wrote back to my p04 with my VT and LS Droid after making changes to the BIN, so I know the combination works.
The developer is around this site also. Then you can use lsdroid for windows or android to write.
