3.2L Frontera with Gen3 LS1 PCM
Hey All,
I was wondering if anyone has come across above mentioned PCM, it has numbers on it 8973007491 with DNBW after that & then next line is 12214209.
It has the standard Red & blue header connectors & wondering if I can get the file off it, HPT doesn't seem to support it & if I try using PCMhammer what device should I try to connect to it with as I have a clone MDI or Tactrix or ELM & various others but think 1 of them would be best maybe?
I can post photo's if people are interested, I believe it has a faulty throttle body & is DBW & impossible to get anymore but read it may be replaced with captiva throttle body maybe.

That's a different pcm, it uses red/blue connectors just like a p01 but its not one. It was discussed briefly in I think it was the LS Droid Facebook group recently and as far as I'm aware it's not supported by any existing software for reading or writing
Found the thread I was thinking of if you want to read over it https://www.facebook.com/groups/LsDroid ... tid=Nif5oz

Plug it in with the mdi and use the latest pcmhammer and do a get properties to see the OSID. Then next maybe we add that osid to each of the supported pcmhammer types and see if any of them read it. Use this one here: viewtopic.php?f=42&t=8201&hilit=pcmhamm ... 90#p122299

What codes where present?
According to chemistry, alcohol is a solution...
Re: 3.2L Frontera with Gen3 LS1 PCM
Getting a vin out of it can help much.
It is also possible that it uses k-line for communication.

Looks like it is isuzu part number, An sps archive will be needed to analyze file type, communication and so on. Too bad isuzu have their own database files on a separate tis2000 version. If anyone have a copy of it will great.

The mains 1's after clearing seem to beGareth wrote:What codes where present?
1125

Which all seem to relate to TPS or throttle & 1 is a PCM shutdown safety for throttle so maybe why it's cutting out, but getting a throttle for 1 of these seems impossible.
I'll try the MDI & PCMhammer too thank you!

Re: 3.2L Frontera with Gen3 LS1 PCM
Well its definitely a VPW PCM. Strange and annoying that it doesn't respond with OSID! Maybe Isuzu done have OSIDs? But we have a vin to work from and a calibration id. "PCMHacks Antus Said Version to use"
