Issues with reading PCM

They go by many names, P01, P59, VPW, '0411 etc. Also covering E38 and newer here.

I recieved my OBDX Pro GT today, works awesome with reading and writing! 0 retries every time! Having some issues getting it working with the universal patcher logging software, it says in the diagnostic text at the bottom that it basically gives up trying to identify the PCM OS, it does say it connects though, just doesn't show any parameters to select, any ideas what i am missing?

Maybe start a new thread with a different title so one of the universal patcher/logger guys sees the post. They might not be looking here.
