help with pcm hammer

I' been using pcm hammer for a few weeks now with no problems, tried using it today and all i keep getting is this

Am I doing something wrong!!

The pcm isnt responding. It is possible you have a wiring problem, software problem, hardware problem or the pcm is dead.
Check your connections, drivers, etc. We need a lot more info to help more. Type of pcm, type of interface, debug log.
When did it last work? What has changed since then?

Its a p59 with Os 12579405 i tried to remove vats and it worked yesterday debug log...thanks for the help I'm going to check the wiring

guessing here on my part but I am thinking vats is not a setting in this operating system, meaning the operating system is patched to remove it instead (thus operating system segment gets the change, not the calibration segment). For technical reasons tunerpro cant update the OS checksum without a plugin. I suspect you have the xdf, not the plugin. You can either figure out which plugin you need and install that to tuner pro, then it'll save ok. or you can use universal patcher which will do the checksum as it comes.

This Os is 12579405, is the Intel only Os and is only from 2003, it's an Os most disregard in favor of 12587603 which is a newer more optioned Os.

I would recommend doing the same, upgrading to 12587603, especially if you are just getting started tuning it.
It's just not well supported!

Also, I would use a newer version of PCMHammer, like 21.2 that you can get here: PCM Hammer Release 021.
