Is there an xdf made up for that gen2 ecu with the boost mod included?
Unfortunately it doesn’t, they created the ecu editor software to make all the adjustments

First things first, are the gen 2 and gen 3 the same cpu? similar os? similar hardware? I would assume that if the gen 2 team have no interest in gen 3 then there is a good chance not much of the above can be re-used, but please prove me wrong.
Not same CPU, but both are renesas
gen 2 is M32R169 and gen 3 is RH850.
About no interest on doing the gen 3, Petrik the boost map creator, said that he don’t even ride his gen 2 busa for the last 4 years, so for him there is no personal gain on working on the gen 3 because he doesn’t have plans to buy one. Unfortunately he is the only guy that created the boost maps ( at least for the ecu editor )
i had a quick look on the woolich racing site it looks like they mostly support the stock bin files. have you reached out to them to see if they are capable of offering something?

most jap bikes seem to use denso ecu's.

Yes, ecu editor was created with Petrik and Justin woolich, unfortunately woolich doesn’t know how to create the turbo maps, for example, for the gen 2 they also offer ecu flashing, but you need to use ecu editor to enable the boost maps, because woolich didn’t add to his software, this feature was requested a long time ago and they still didn’t implement it, so I guess he doesn’t know how to or doesn’t want to because he just want to make quick money selling his ecu flashing tools

Interesting. Same case but each version has quite different connectors.
The gen 2 Hayabusa and gsxr 1000 2008 also have different connectors, but you could flash the gen 2 bin file on the gsxr 1000 and use the turbo maps too, everything still works, both bikes have 8 injectors and all.
The Hayabusa 2022-2024 and gsxs 1000 22-24 also use the exact same ecu, just different bin files that are flashed with SDS-II at the dealer, when they get it ready for showroom.
I am fairly sure all the information on the ecu editor site has gone from the public view. If my memory is correct, Petrik was one of the major developers of the additional functionality. Some other existed, I can not think of the names now. Petrik always seemed happy to share and help while he had an interest and it met his requirements.
If I find anything from the old ecu editor forum in my stash of files I will post the information.

Oh yeah, Petrik is awesome, he always reply to my emails, but since he didn’t show interest on working on the gen 3, I don’t want to keep bothering him, I might email him again just to see if he have the code or how he created the boost maps and yes, unfortunately a lot of the information was lost, when you download the ecu editor, the help section forwards to a website that doesn’t exist anymore… so sad… I love seeing the progress of projects
