Hi all I’m retro fitting a VN ECU into a VH anyway I’m looking to add a wire for a wideband input can anyone advise if I can buy the crimp needed to suit or is it easier to get one out of another loom? Trying to avoid modifying this loom cheers.

I haven't bought from them myself yet, but they have lots of hard to find bits that were common in our cars, but not in overseas ones. I like that they have the multiblock series, the one used for the ALDL plug near the ECU, I tap into it for 12v , ground and CEL etc... So that I don't need to rig anything dodgy up, just a socket that plugs in when I need to temporary for various needs. But before Jaydee, I re-pinned an old rear door central locking cable and socket, it's the same plug/socket as the ALDL one. Next time, Jaydee's for sure. I hate cutting and splicing, feels dodgy to me.

The one you need is the Micropak 100 series I am pretty sure. I just add the wire in and a normal 1 way locking spade from Narva or something similar and leave that end hanging above the ECU, so whenever I need the wide band plugged in, I just plug it to that pigtail that's just there.

Jaycar just want to sell you a tv antenna or 3D printer these days. I get a few bits from Wes and theres also Farnels but you need to know what your looking for.

Hahaha yeah I’m not crazy technical with that kinda thing but you are right it’s alot easier to find things if you know what you are looking for lol.

I just get one from an old loom but with them getting hard to find I get a little reluctant to use up what I have left if I do another conversion.

The eficonnection pics look chopped off maybe, but the plugs that it says they are good for do seem to include the commodore ecm and pcm plugs and when you zoom in, you can see they've taken an angle that hides the flat part of the connector.

Nah that's correct. If you look carefully, the image is right, just an optical illusion that makes it look like a section is chopped off, it's there just the lighting is funny.

That is indeed the right terminal. There are wire gauge options for them like most terminals, so double check you are picking the right one for the wire size you plan to use.
