[*]Hi all
I am fitting my new VT Roller build into my LX. I have multiple ECU/PCM in my parts bin.
Before I tackle the wiring which am I best to utilise for overall performance tuning.
VP 808
VS 6424
VT 4531
Planning on using 4L60e and RT tuning.

'808 cant control the 4L60E
'424 can run the '424 and will give you MAP based tuning, but wasn't used on that engine from factory so a little more work to connect it and tune it. Absolutely doable. Downside in a VT is it wont run the rest of the car, but no problem for a transplant.
'531 will probably be the simplest to hook up. Can run the1's enhanced which is extended software, but it's MAF. This in itself is fine, but some people don't want to learn MAF and prefer a MAP option.
Look here and have a read about OSE11P and The1's enhanced and choose between those two options.

11P is very similar to 12P (which is for the '808) and 12P has more documentation so its worth reading about 12P to understand 11P as well.

Run the 424 with 11P.
If it was manual use the the 808 with 12P
